samp-client-re: a partial SA-MP client reconstruction
A documented REA/Ghidra investigation maps SA-MP 0.3.DL-R1 client subsystems to a new C++ DLL, loader and smoke-test executable. The result is an architectural reconstruction with explicitly unresolved network and graphics behavior, not an established retail-compatible client.
Requirements & limits
- Testing evidence: The README reports a Windows/MinGW x64 build and a GTA-independent smoke executable; actual GTA: San Andreas use requires a separate 32-bit toolchain/build. Not run or reproduced for this catalog.
- Attribution: The architecture table attributes addresses and recovered procedures to REA/Ghidra 12.1.4; names inferred from the stripped binary remain analyst interpretations.
- Limits: Full RCON/RPC handling, the default-port wire format and the exact Present trampoline are marked unknown/TODO. The archive parser is described as behavior-equivalent, not a complete decryptor.
- License: No project license file was present in the reviewed root. Original GTA and SA-MP components remain separate prerequisites with their own rights.
