ArkWeb: a two-game movement and collision experiment

Runs Spider-Man Remastered and Arkham Knight together, streaming Gotham collision into Spider-Man’s physics world and compositing his rendered frame into Arkham. This experimental runtime bridge is not a recovered standalone game or new engine.

Requirements and limitations

  • Requires owned Steam copies of both games, Spider-Man 4.0630 specifically, Windows 10 x64, an Xbox-style controller and hardware able to run both games simultaneously.
  • Build prerequisites include Visual Studio 2019 C++ tools, Windows 10 SDK and Python 3.12 dependencies. Collision gaps, clipping, lighting and combat-pose limitations remain.
  • End-to-end operation is project-reported, not reproduced here. AI setup/documentation collaboration is visible; REA use and AI authorship of all reverse engineering are unconfirmed. Public source has no repository-wide license found in the reviewed tree; game files are not supplied.
