Inspect firmware regions with Binwalk and explicitly extract with Unblob, retaining tool and artifact identity.
Requirements and limitations
- Caller-supplied Binwalk 3.1.x for inspection; Unblob 26.6.x for extraction.
- The documented verification scope is Linux x64; extraction needs a new caller-selected output directory.
