j2208-band-tools: a direct client for the J2208 fitness-band protocol
j2208-band-tools implements a direct BLE client for J2208-family fitness bands using protocol findings recovered from the FitTrack Health companion app. Its Python tools read stored health history and live sensor values, probe GATT services and collect readings into SQLite. The author checked the documented 16-byte frame protocol against one Hume Band V2.

Requirements & limits
- Prerequisites: A J2208-family band and Python with bleak; the companion app must release its BLE connection before the tools connect.
- Testing evidence: The author tested one Hume Band V2 with firmware v0.0.3.9; support for other family members is inferred.
- Limits: Raw PPG is reported unavailable on the tested V2 firmware.
- License: MIT license.
