Tool

xAnalyzer

x64dbg plugin that annotates the static code of the debugged x86 or x64 executable with function-call, argument and loop analysis. It adds argument and type information from over 13,000 API definitions for almost 200 DLLs, handles undefined and register-based calls generically and detects loops automatically. Analysis runs on a selection, a function or a whole module from menus or the xanal commands, can run automatically at the entry point like OllyDbg's initial analysis, and users can extend its .api and header definition files.

Requirements & limits

  • Prerequisites: Needs x64dbg; copy xAnalyzer.dp32 or xAnalyzer.dp64 and the extracted apis_def folder into the matching x64dbg plugin directory. Release at review: 2.5.12, published 2025-08-13, the same day as the reviewed master commit.
  • Limits: The README lists known limits: the first undefined call with generic arguments in a function is not processed unless a jump precedes it, nested calls work correctly only in some cases, loops are detected only within function boundaries and can be misdetected around unconditional jumps, and extended analysis can take much longer and use large amounts of RAM.
  • License: MIT per LICENSE.
