reFlutter

Flutter reverse-engineering framework for apps the analyst is authorized to inspect. It repacks an app with a prebuilt patched Dart engine, or instruments the app's own engine at runtime, to emit a JSONL dump of every function's name, class, library and code offset into the Dart instructions image for Frida or IDA/Ghidra work. It can also route the app's HTTPS traffic through an inspection proxy with Flutter certificate pinning disabled.

Requirements and limitations

  • Installed from PyPI as reflutter (setup.py marks version 0.9.8 and requires Python 3.10+) and runs on Linux, Windows or macOS; the README notes a repacked APK must be re-signed and zip-aligned with an external signer before install.
  • The README lists support for Android arm64, arm32 and x64 and iOS arm64 across release and profile builds on the stable and beta channels, with engine coverage keyed by snapshot hash in enginehash.csv; pre-monorepo engines (<= 3.27) are built from the archived flutter/engine repository. Frida hooking and dump collection need a matching frida-server on the target device or emulator.
  • Intended for Flutter applications the analyst owns or is authorized to inspect. GPL-3.0 licensed; the project ships tooling and prebuilt engine assets but no application packages.
