Tool
PulseView
Examine captured logic and analog waveforms with sigrok's graphical frontend. Protocol decoders and decoder stacking expose bus messages and higher-level device operations, making hardware communication traces useful for firmware and interoperability investigations.
Requirements and limitations
- Supply a supported recorded trace, or use a compatible logic analyzer/oscilloscope with the needed device access. Device support is narrower than the whole sigrok suite; PulseView is not the multimeter frontend.
- Protocol decoding requires libsigrokdecode and operates on logic signals; analog captures need suitable conversion. The reviewed source accepts Qt 5.3+ or Qt 6.2+, libsigrokcxx 0.5.2+ and libsigrokdecode 0.5.2+.
- GPL-3.0-or-later. GitHub is the official mirror. Development snapshots and packaged releases may differ; the reviewed tree must not be presented as a new stable release.
