# Petkit Local: reconstructing feeder cloud and fountain BLE controls

> Petkit Local replaces selected Petkit D4 feeder cloud exchanges with a local Home Assistant server and relays Eversweet Max 2 CTW3 fountain messages over BLE. The integration implements device registration, heartbeats, schedules, events and commands based on observed device communication.

## Requirements & limits

- **Prerequisites:** Home Assistant 2024.1 or newer, a D4-family feeder, port 80 and local DNS or IP redirection are required.
- **Prerequisites:** CTW3 fountain support requires a D4 feeder already running the integration.
- **Testing evidence:** The documented tested firmware versions are D4 1.267 and CTW3 1.11.
- **License:** MIT licence.
