Nebula (NebulaFD)

Work-in-progress decompiler for games made with Clickteam Fusion 2.5, with fixes for older Multimedia Fusion 1.5 files. Its .NET console app reads Windows executables, Android APKs, iOS IPAs, CCN data files and existing MFA projects, then runs plug-in tools: an MFA Parser that writes the game back out as an editable Fusion project, and an Asset Dumper for images, sounds, music, fonts, icons, shaders and packed files.

Requirements and limitations

  • The README is a placeholder that calls itself a work in progress and documents no usage, build steps or supported formats, so this record relies on the source code and release notes. The latest release, september_2026_update (2026-09-28, the reviewed commit), lists fixes for Multimedia Fusion 1.5 files and Fusion 2.5 build 296 events plus experimental Android support, and notes that console-exporter detection breaks with custom exporters.
  • Users supply a compiled Fusion game: the console asks for a file path and picks a reader from the extension (EXE, APK, IPA, MFA, ZIP, ANM, TMP or GAM, with other files read as CCN data) or from the user's choice. The MFA Parser and Asset Dumper load as DLLs from the program's Tools folder and write to a Dumps folder.
  • Release archives require the .NET 6.0 Desktop Runtime, and the projects target net6.0. The only GitHub workflow compiles the solution with MSBuild on Windows and uploads the build as an artifact, and the dumper's post-build step uses the Windows robocopy command; no other platform is documented. The repository contains no test project.
  • There is no license file and GitHub detects none, so reuse terms are not stated. The README credits Kostya for the image bank. Reviewed sources state no REA use, and this collection did not run the tool or analyze any game.
