# Left 4 Dead 2: recovering the AI Director's behavior

> This Left 4 Dead 2 study reconstructs the AI Director's pacing, intensity, encounter placement and music rules from an identified x86 server.dll and sanitized runtime traces. It publishes disassembly-derived findings, analysis scripts, evidence files and implementation specifications; a reference game library is in a separate repository.
