# Holley EFI Parser

> Holley EFI Parser decodes Holley DL and DLZ data logs and live ECU CAN messages. Its Python tools decompress DLZ with byte swapping and RLE, parse versioned DL records into pandas DataFrames, and decode CAN messages using supplied DBC files. The documentation records the proprietary 29-bit CAN identifier layout.

## Requirements & limits

- **Prerequisites:** Python and the package dependencies are required; live CAN use additionally needs a configured Linux CAN interface.
- **Limits:** V4 DL support is partial, and V5 files require conversion to V6 with Holley software.
- **Testing evidence:** The author reports DLZ decompression accuracy from nine file pairs.
- **License:** MIT License.
