# HexRaysCodeXplorer

> Hex-Rays decompiler plugin for navigating and reconstructing C++ code in IDA's pseudocode window. It reconstructs C++ object types from a selected pointer variable into IDA's local types, identifies virtual function tables and generates structures for them, lets the analyst click through virtual calls once objects are typed, visualizes a function's ctree as a graph, jumps from a pseudocode line to its disassembly and dumps ctrees and types to files. Its Object Explorer lists vtables with cross-references and RTTI parsing, and a batch mode processes many files without user interaction.

## Requirements & limits

- **Prerequisites:** Written in C/C++ for x86/x64 IDA with the Hex-Rays decompiler on Windows, Linux and macOS; the README says only the latest IDA and decompiler versions are tested. The newest GitHub release is 2.1, the IDA 7 edition, from 2018-03-14; the reviewed master commit dates from 2025-11-25.
