Tool
Hermes
Hermes is a Flipper Zero app for identifying unknown UART settings and inspecting a device's serial console. It timestamps line edges to estimate bit time, checks candidate rates and parity against received UART bytes, then offers a terminal with text, hex and capture features. The source states that detection leaves the transmit pin undriven until the user sends data.

Requirements & limits
- Prerequisites: Flipper Zero and access to the target device's UART line.
- Limits: The source says edge timing cannot follow edges beyond roughly 230400 baud; the UART sweep needs traffic during its sampling window.
