# AOL 7.0 Retro Server: reconstructing the P3 server session

> AOL 7.0 Retro Server implements local Python servers for the 2001 AOL 7.0 client. It reconstructs the proprietary P3 login and security exchange, the handoff between login and BOS servers, and post-login data used to display the welcome screen and buddy list.
