STILL: Recovering Lowered STL Semantics for LLM-assisted C++ Decompilation

STILL predicts function-level STL container presence from stripped control-flow graphs and turns those predictions into compact hints for LLM refinement of Ghidra output. StlBench supplies controlled labels for five container classes.

Scope and limitations

The interface covers map, queue, set, string and vector, not full variable types, template arguments, nesting, iterators or std::array. Experiments use g++/x86-64/libstdc++ with angr and Ghidra; transfer to other toolchains is unverified. Test-suite executability is not equivalence, and hint benefits depend on the downstream model and adaptation.

Why it fits this collection

Connects explicit container-semantic recovery with LLM-assisted C++ decompilation without claiming full type reconstruction.
